October 1, 2023
Good Afternoon,
THANK YOU ALL AND CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT HOMECOMING WEEK! All week long our school building and our school community were buzzing with so many different activities! I hope all of you had a great experience! I am so proud of all the effort and enthusiasm that went into a great celebration of John Bapst! Well done!
In what seems like the blink of an eye, we flip the calendar to October! It is an important time in so many ways. In the academic world we are starting the push toward the end of the first quarter grading period. Begin planning now to finish the quarter strong. Put in extra time academically when you can. Communicate with your teachers about when you can meet with them for extra help. Plan each day to prioritize your academic success and get your assignments completed. Once finished, make sure they are turned in, and on time! If things are going well, stay the course. Continue to stay on track and push yourself to avoid complacency. In any situation, reach out if you need any help.
In our athletic programs, the same holds true. Each fall sports program is in an important stretch in their regular seasons as we approach postseason events and tournaments. Put in the time to be prepared. Work hard in practice each day. Push each other to be better. Take care of your bodies. Stay hydrated (it is supposed to be 80 degrees on Tuesday), and GET SOME SLEEP!
Good luck to golf team members Ellie Kuhl, Jaxson Sockbeson, and Winslow Noel as they are the first to continue postseason play in the state championship golf match on Friday!
The 2023 Weekly Athletic Schedule (10-2 to 10-7) is attached. Just like last week, keep supporting each other. As ALWAYS, It was so great to see Crusader Pride on full display!
GO CRUSADERS!
